We read every message. The fastest way to get help with a file is to describe it, not send it.
If a file won't convert
Please don't send your bank file or account numbers. Instead, tell us:
- the bank and the account type (checking, savings or credit card);
- the file type (CSV, Excel, QBO, QFX, OFX or QIF);
- the column names in the first row of the file (for example "Date, Description, Amount");
- what went wrong: the message you saw, or what looks wrong in the preview table.
If QuickBooks or Quicken rejects a file you made here, include the exact error message and its code (for example a code that starts with "OL-"). The QBO file checker may also find the problem for you.
